Our mission is not only to regenerate the natural forest, but also to reconnect our guests with nature and its wonders. We offer a unique experience, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains, while taking part in activities that promote awareness and appreciation for the environment.
How to get here?
By public bus:
From Managua take a Expreso Bus at El Mayoreo market towards Matagalpa (2,3 hours). When you arrive to Matagalpa, take a taxi towards the Guanuca bus Terminal (north) and there you can take a bus to El Cua, Bocay or El bote (important to know that the last bus from Matagalpa leaves at 1:30pm.
These three buses will take you to El Macizo de Peñas Blancas (2,5 hours ride). You get down at the Km 194 1/2 and walk 600mts in the dirt road inside the Macizo. You past Don Chico’s farm, The cooperativa guardianes del bosque, and to the right side you will see Reserva Los Nogales.
